WKND of WEIRD 2025

WHAT: 3 days of guided demos, hands-on shooting, tactile editing, and printmaking

WHO: Open to artists of all mediums. We’ll be creating photographic works, but you can bring any tool that captures light—a digital camera, iPhone, film camera, or point-and-shoot.Registered artists will receive detailed event information, including timing, addresses, and additional updates, closer to the weekend.

Schedule:

October 17: 6 PM – 9 PM

October 18: 9 AM – 3 PM

October 19: 9 AM – 3 PM

Included:

• 3 full days of hands-on creative exploration + mentorship

• 2 Group shoots with models

• Live demos

• Portfolio work time

• Creative prompts + zine

• Light snacks + drinks each day

Not included: Travel, accommodations, and Saturday/Sunday meals

Tiers

Supported — $375

For those living paycheck to paycheck, with limited savings or other financial constraints.This rate is partially subsidized by community supporters.

Sustainable (Standard) — $555

For those able to meet their basic needs with a bit of flexibility.This covers the true cost of the experience.

Supporter — $745

For those with financial security or access to additional resources.Your contribution helps fund subsidized and free seats for other artists.

No one is turned away for lack of funds. If you need additional support, email us. Thanks to community patrons, we hold a limited number of fully subsidized seats at each workshop. We accept credit cards via the registration link. Payment plans and payments without Wix’s service fee are available via Venmo by contacting us directly.
